The DNR provides a large stack of firewood outside all of the cabins.
This wood is for burning in the wood stove ONLY. The park does not want
you to use the wood they provide and cut in the outdoor firepit.
It will not be had to forget this as they have signs to remind you.
You may collect dead, fallen firewood from the surrounding woods for use in the fire pit. Please practice minimal impact gathering by leaving all live trees alone. There is plenty of dead dried wood in the forest. |
